D'Zhari Bolden "D'Zhari", native of Chicago, IL, has been singing and performing since the age of 4. Her roots in music began with her participation in the youth choir at church and also with the influence from her family members like her grandmother and mother who have been singing their whole lives. As she went through school D'Zhari began to involve herself in everything musical from choirs to variety showcases to musical theater productions. She hasn't stopped performing since. Through middle school and high school D'Zhari began to receive recognition for her achievements like The Ella Fitzgerald award for excellence in Vocal Jazz Performance. 

As a current student at Columbia College Chicago pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in Contemporary, Urban, and Popular Vocal Music , D'Zhari has begun to discover her unique sound as an artist while also growing as a musician. She aims to use her voice and music as a provider of "soul food." Her unique and refreshing blend of R&B, Neo-Soul, and Jazz music along with her authentic and raw lyricism is how she hopes to reach lovers of all genres of music and elevate the music world as a whole. She aspires to create timeless music that will resurface the good memories of those who listen as well as take them to another place mentally while healing and uplifting their spirits in the process.
